CONTEMPLATIVE GARDEN

Viewed from the home’s interior, as well as from the roof deck, this small courtyard garden offers a placid escape for the mind. While the stones give the impression of a gentle stream, their Zen-like stillness has a calming effect. The garden is highlighted seasonally by purple spires of ajuga groundcover in spring, the fluffy plumes of foxtail grass in summer and tall blue asters in fall.
